Price check - standard seats midyear

What's a set of these worth these days? These are from a 1975 S.

Black, vinyl, I'm going to say $350 per seat.

Funny, I just dragged a pair to the dump because I couldn't get any bites on CR for $75

I bought a nice pair out of a '75 for $100 3 years ago. Things may have changed.

Although if you are selling, I may be interested right now, as they look better than mine. PM me or let me know as I will take them if you are selling.

From the pic they look to be in great shape, just in want of a little cleaning. And the spike in mid-year pricing means a spike in mid-year parts.

That's true. They look better than mine. Mine don't seem as puffy. They may be worth buying if he's selling. if not, I'll keep mine as usual. I'm looking for some with cloth inserts but those really never held up very well.

I'm not selling, I wanted to know what they were worth.

Realistically I would say $400-$600 for both.

Kinda silly to get rid of them then. Can't replace them for less than $3k it seems like.
Funny how that works.

Realistically, $150-200.*

I have a pair of midyear leather seats for sale for an asking price of $500 and they have been for sale for 7 months with zero inquiries. (perhaps the fact they are white leather is part of the problem, but dyeing is cheaper than re-covering).

* One additional factor is whether you are in a target-rich environment (like I am) or if you live where Porsches are more rare. More rare = higher prices.

This is true, but doing a good job on a re-color is a PITA. How much is it worth to have seats already the color you want?
