912 soft window targa - stunner!

Well. What happened to the "lowly 912" market? Lol... In general, 911/912 SWB soft windows are quite rare.

$79k BIN.

Gorgeous. I would love to own a SWT of any spec.

I agree, that's a beauty. The price, I cannot afford, but admiration is free!

These really throw me. Longhood targas are beautiful to my eye, silver hoop, sexy rear glass with bright trim. But the soft window... It just erodes any semblance of the cars roofline. Its truly one case where I feel like rareness is the virtue in and of itself. Just my opinion. Happy to see 912 price love!

yup. looks kinda like a flower basket...lol..

But I like them for what they are, unique in the model range.

Looks nice. But that really defines the divide between 912s and 911s. For a 911 SWT, you'd have an avalanche of people with cash in hand wanting that car in the first 30 seconds of the auction.

matt930s 01-08-2016 12:09 PM

True. But that's amazing ground considering were 912's started.

The only caveat would be pristine low mileage survivors, those 912's bring money in any category.

Neat pedal-car, but the listing doesn't mention anything about the factory sundial being included - wonder what previous owner pocketed that thar indispensable tuning tool?!?!?!
