What are these 1974 RS Parts worth ?
As some of you may know I am a parts Fiend, I stumbled upon some crazy stuff sometimes. Lately I've been focusing more on this and dedicating a lot more of my time to the parts business.
Most recently I found a lot consisting of Rare long hood items Including RS and Aluminum S parts. Over the next few weeks I will be posting more items. Helping a friend (with the lot) he has this set of 1974 RS MFI Cylinder heads From a Eurppean model He says they are rare as hens teeth but I can't grasp his price that he wants for them. "how much does a RS sell for ?, What would the engine be worth? ....ect..ect" Part number 911.104.307.1R with the "Y" marking (Yttrium) Not to be confused with S model, similar to S models but not the same. What is a proper price to ask for these ? I've seen "S" versions for $400-600 each used in unknown condition but he claims these are 1974 RS heads ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Blackbyrd; 01-23-2016 at 10:28 AM.. |

PM Steve at Rennsport Systems. He can verify what they are and give you a ballpark for core value.
Or post them in the engine building forum. Either Steve or Henry@Supertec will reply.

rare RS heads
Hi,having repaired a few of these.Very rare.If you opened up the cylinder head surface to accept a 90mm cylinder on a 2.2 or 2.4 s head you would own these rare RS heads.Intake and exhaust ports are the same.Ciao Fred Apgar
