Market has slowed down and actually has had some ups and downs-but ask the owner of a 1967 911S how much it has gone up in last 5 years- 500%

I mean, it's by definition going to be relative. You have to pick your start and end points - 2010-2016, way up. 2014-2016? Eh, not as obvious. "Crumbled" is probably a bit dramatic though.
