Here's a bargin...seriously

An original owner 1989 3.2 Silver Anniversary with 40k miles for $34,500. Is this a market correction or a diamond in the rough?

Cars for Sale: 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera in Apison, TN 37302: Coupe Details - 421758317 - Autotrader

Sure seems cheap. THe car isn't perfect, but if the ownership and mileage are right, then the car is at least $10k underpriced. And the question is - why would a scammer take (or steal) so many pictures?

May be a scam. But, I think there is a definite cooling of the market....

I think seller may just be out of touch. At that price would be worth a plane ticket to go investigate.

For the record I am not a scammer. I've been a member of this forum for 13 years and over 1,000 posts, perhaps my accuser has limited reading skills. I happened to share what I thought was an interesting vehicle for below market price. Craigslist transactions should only be conducted in-person.

Nobody accused you of being a scammer. They were warning you to watch out for getting scammed.

cooling of the market?
maybe at the goof-ball auction houses.
with few exceptions, you would have to be an idiot to buy a car at one of these auctions.
