Restoration cost brain trust - does this car make the cut?

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/900256-1970-porsche-911e.html

From just a casual look, I don't think this car is anything but a VIN donor. Even for a DIY restoration, this looks like a money-loser to me. What say you?

Poor little E model turned into a fright pig and left to rot.

The only way he is going to unload that thing is to give it away.

Let us say rough 1970 911E. But some potential to reach more is there.

I am serious. This one is right in his wheelhouse and all the appropriate boxes are checked.
Lemmee see wrong engine? Yes, check.
Aftermarket body kit? Why yes that too, check.
VW engine? Yep He did once tell me to give a type 1 case and he would build a killer hotrod engine .
Within budget? Might be a reach ...not sure.
It seems irresistible doesn't Erica? Almost like that third doughnut of your day half eaten and near your computer.

No you aren't. Matt destroyed you, and now your butthurt wants to endlessly troll. Luckily, when enough reports are made about trolling behavior, folks find out about "time outs" and how that affects their ability to post on the forums. Of course, there are people here who have personal relationships with PP staff. Go ahead and keep trolling. I can't wait to see the result.

I agree. Most of your current postings are utter rubbish, trolling, and generally uncivilized. Maybe you should grow up, or find yourself outside, looking in?

If you want to be serious, then stop being such a douche canoe and lay off the personal shots. I don't think you're adult enough to do it, so I look forward to your time out. Or permanent ban. Either one works just fine for me.

No, you won't. You can't. You're just not smart enough. I won't worry about my software. I'll have the PP administrators solve the problem.

You are so far off in the weeds that it's funny. That car belongs in the Sheeper thread.

I found a rust free theft recovery car in a factory steel slopenose conversion with an upgraded engine. I was tempted to drive it as it sat because it was actually a nice piece of 80s cheese. But my wife has always wanted a Gulf Blue 911. So I bought it and returned it to stock with all the brightwork. You can slag on it from your keyboard all you want but I'll be driving it with a smile shortly.

Ps. I never said I would build a VW engine for you. I do need to get around to building a VW engine for my 914, but that's got nothing to do with you.
