1973 911T RS Tribute

It's about time I look into parting with my 911. I wish I had some recent photos but will post a couple that will do. More available on request. Some highlights:

- '75 2.7L CIS Carrera engine (6451005)
- Interior has new headliner, carpets front & back & frunk, new visors & door panels
- New clutch and flywheel
- Genuine Fuchs, newly refinished with hand-painted center caps (Photos show Cookies)
- Can't find any rust
- Beautiful Guards Red paint job with incredible luster and shine
- Ceramic coated fan & housing
- All maintenance records available from several POs
- Dual battery system - Interstate U911 - two years old
- New 2-in 1-out Dansk muffler; new pre muffler; new stainless steel heat exchangers
- Sounds like a sewing machine!!
- Elephant Racing late Carrera oil cooler with fan
- Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio that works perfect
- Oh sure, it's 43 years old and a Porsche so there's always something to do!
- It drips a bit of oil but, after all, it's an old Porsche
- Original owner's manual and reconstructed, non-original tool kit
- Lots of tools, jack stands, etc if you want them
- Runs very well; always garaged

What do you suppose something like this is worth?

Tom

Not enough photos or info for me. The non original engine and being a 2.7 hurts it. Original 73T's are $50 plus. Nice paint helps. Long hoods are desirable, so someone might pay up. I'm going with below $50 though, until we see more pix and get more info like mileage, miles on 2.7 rebuild, condition on transmission, original color etc.

I would go lower - low 40's. The Non-original engine hurts as stated above.
What is the original paint color (interior/exterior).
How is the dash?
Mileage on chassis?
Provenance (where has it lived)?

Yeah - more information and then we can help with a firmer price.
Start higher than you think and be willing to go lower. A non 'matching' car is not a bad thing, but it will not fetch the $'s that you think.
Then again, all you need is 'One'

Here's what I know:

- We are in for some rainy, gloomy days in Missoula, MT so will take some fresh photos when it suns up.
- Car was originally purchased in LA and sometime later immigrated to Canada, BC and finally SK where I bought it in 2010.
- Odometer shows 58K, but quit working while I had it; sent to N. Hollywood for repairs.
- Must check maintenance records to find out when 2.7L was transplanted and lineage of speedometer.
- Original paint was Irish Green (guessing here but I think that's what the paint code translated to) Paint job is really spectacular, a bit of green showing in the frunk.
- Transmission shifts nicely.
- Oh, the dash is fine, no cracks but the center speaker grill won't seat completely - easy fix I'd guess

Give me a couple of weeks until we get out of this damn Winter!!!

Thanks,

Tom
