I did the ol quick scan (but not thorough) so aplogies if this listing has been posted already.
But I am tempted to clear out my stocks to buy this as it is my grail: 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster 1 owner 993 964 turbo But I smell S.C.A.M. 1. Mispelling 2. Contact is "Dr Anton" Just phishy. 3. Rear fender fins...unless this was a factory option I dont know about. Oh well. I can dream. Last edited by revkev; 03-18-2016 at 09:05 AM.. |

Google the phone number.
The poster has been on here since 2012 - here's an example http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/903342-1965-porsche-911-build-date-12-65-match.html His email gives this: marcelaanton@sbcglobal.net is associated to this person Name Andreas Anton is associated with 6 domains Address 1014 Westside Rd. map City Healdsburg State California Country US United States Phone +1.7074783078 Private no List of domain names registred by marcelaanton@sbcglobal.net Domain Name Create Date Registrar v88wines.info 2014-08-07 godaddy.com, llc (r171-lrms) v88wines.us 2014-08-07 (registration services) whois.godaddy.com So if it's a scam he isn't too bright. Or he's inside and his identity has been jacked... |

It's not a "scam" ad per say, as in Nigerian scam, but Dr. Andres Anton has tried to sell some very shady cars before, including an obviously faked 1973 Carrera RS as a real one.
Very odd car...it's possible that a Speedster could be fitted with the rear brake ducts through Special Wishes, but I've never seen one. I would guess it was in an accident and the ducts were added along with the incorrect "Turbo" style front valence and lip. Or it's a got a fake VIN like his RS did and it's some hacked up '77 Targa. |
