Holbert Superwide 924 Turbo

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/859647-holbert-racing-superwide-martini-924-turbo.html?highlight=924+turbo

What is this beauty worth? I'm a 911 guy but I remember seeing this car in person several years ago at Hershey. I loved it but it wasn't for sale at that time. I just can't justify low 20s. What do you guys think?

I don't know what its worth but I do know its cool as heck. The early 74-80 cloth fronted recaros are something else too. They must be very late because 1980 is the switch over.

If I had the cash laying around for another car I'd serious look at it. What a badass car! I don't think the price is unreasonable if it's a quick car.

Years ago I owned a special edition 924. It was probably one of the slowest cars I ever owned. My girlfriend at the time had a nice 67 bug and when going up the 805 freeway from mission valley in San Diego she just buzzed right by me. The dash also imploded while I owned it. If I was given a 924 free I would junk it.

I like it…… given the cost of euro GT or carrera versions this could be fun…...

So that's how you make a Porsche look like a Triumph. Interesting...

But have you ever driven a 924 TURBO??

Based on the pedigree & condition of this car, it is a fair price, for a very cool, unique Porsche. Try and find any other model that matches this, and see how many $$$$ it sets you back.
