my uncle brought a photo copy of the CL add to xmas to share with me... we hade a good chuckle.

regarding the car? could be fun in a baja bug sort of way at a place like Pismo beach. sand or less than optimum traction might be just what a 915 with a v-8 attached needed to last at all... a rallye car, heck ya.

Agreed, it seems like a fun dirt toy, but it has lost much of its collector vintage premium.
Selling price should reflect the cost it would take to return to stock, which it clearly does not, at $30k.
I would rather buy a $5k Miata or E30 that is dirt prepped, just the same. Or maybe part out value.
