Open top no roof 911sc race car
So i have a 911SC targa, caged, full suspension, build 3.4 single plug, coil over conversion. Its a great car. I just hate that its a targa.
Been shopping for a doner roof to make it a coupe but lately i've been thinking about doing something stupid and just chopping it off. Getting a toneau cover made for the open space and just getting a small windscreen made. I've always wanted one... I remember seeing pics of such a car and can't find any currently. Can anyone help? I suggest you contact two people:
Gary Walton. He's Rich Walton's father. Rich is co-owner of Jerry Woods enterprises, and Gary's racing days go as far back as Jerry's. You can find Gary through JWE and he races a highly modified 1968 targa chassis. Walt Fricke. Walt is one of the PCA rule makers. He is a long standing scrut and racer who took an IB 911 targa to the "limit". Walt is really easy to find through the PCA CR contact list and is happy to talk about building a car to the limit, within the rules.

in 1987 Porsche sold a plastic cover that allowed for the removal of the windshield and a one man set-up.
