What would be a realistic price for a complete MFI setup these days?
I have seen E MFI pumps only on E-bay for up around $5000. Seems they are all buy it now prices though so hard to say if they sell for that amount.

Reason for asking is I have a complete setup from a 73TE that I am considering selling.
I know the 73TE is not the hottest setup but what should I price it at?
Was running, but not mint condition stuff.

Any imput would be appreciated

So is it a T or E? Nobody pays 5k for a pump unless it's an RS or rarer pump. Ebay is not the place for pricing items unless you go to the sold auctions.

It's a US spec T. T with MFI, I have seen people refer to them as TE.
Yeah I was thinking the same. I could not really believe the prices for non RS pumps on Ebay.

Yes I've seen other people call the pumps TE pumps. As a longtime owner of a 72T, I have never been able to figure out what they're talking about. Value normally lands in the $2,500 to $3,000 for the complete setup. Some people may ask more but normally when they pop up for sale on here they can be acquired for about that price.

TE is a fuel injected T as opposed to the zenith carb'd T.

Recently on this board a complete MFI setup sold for $850. On the samba a complete set up sold for $1500. These are two examples where the part was actually sold. You can find dreamers attempting to sell things at outrageous prices but they don't actually sell. Values are determined by the lowest price currently on the market, not the highest. There's been MFI pumps for sale on sites for at least a year priced around $1,750.

Secondly, condition is important. It costs a great deal to restore and calibrate an MFI setup properly. I know a factory trained MFI specialist who has an entire wall devoted to MFI tools. Anyone who really understands the cost of MFI will probably expect a lower price for anything that isn't perfect and willing to pay a premium for something perfect.

I'm no expert, just telling you what I see in various classifieds, and information from my MFI specialist friend.

I sold this set recently within minutes so these low bottom dollar numbers are out of the ordinary.
It would have to be a pretty crummy set for $850/1500 or it was a fluke.
