Question Market Value - Non Stock 911SC

I'm considering selling my SC. I bought the car in 2000 or 2001 and built it ground up for track days. However I built the car within the (at that time) G Glass Stock PCA.

There's been a lot of very clean quality work done under the car to the suspension, sway-bars, torsion bars, oil coolers, ect.

Over the past couple years I've gotten the car back on the road. To do that I completely gutted the interior and removed all the race prep. Retuning the inside of the car back to a state more appropriate for street driving.

I haven't completely decided if I'm ready to sell it. We've had a long history together, however maybe it's time...?

I have a price in mind however I'd like to hear any and all feedback from other Pelicans.

Thanks!

need more info.

whats the motor like? how many miles? do you have a lot of paperwork? you have tool kit? headstuds? top end rebuild?

based on what it looks like and assuming it runs well I'm thinking $27-30k.

Assuming strong mechanicals and you have a stock carrera tail or decklid I'd be shocked it you couldn't get $30k. The interior changes on that car are the most desirable outside of stock IMHO, so should be a relatively wide buyer pool.

looks very clean, I'd say starting point is closer to 40k plus more available if its got a killer motor, suspension, etc

Engine was rebuilt just before I purchased the car. It was only used for track days, however I don't know how many miles are on the rebuild. When my son was born in 08 i stopped with track days, funny how that happens.

Suspension are Bilstein shock with torsion bars, I believe 22 & 30mm. Brakes are solid too.

I would be surprised if there's been a thousand miles put on the car in the past 15 years.

That sounds crazy! Not that I'd mind 40K. However it's not a hotrod. Engine and trans are stock.

I like the car. Get rid of the front bumper and the rear tail, and it would appeal to me more, although I'm not buying.

It may have a thousand miles on it since the rebuild, but they're hard, track miles. It's got positives and negatives. I think below $30-35 is the market for this car. $40K plus is crack money. Don't start dreamin'.

Agreed!

I'm not looking to take advantage of some uniformed buyer like these "flippers" are doing these days.
