3.6 L M64-01 Engine

Hi,

I have been building my car for too long. I cant finish it unless I can raise some money. As a result, I believe that I will sell this engine. I need some help in its valuation.

It is important to note that is has sat for along time in Garys basement. I am hoping to start it, and have a dyno test in the next month. It now has 993 plastic intake, 993 injectors, 964 ECU programmed by Steve Wong. Garry ran it with TMW ITB's. It also has new piston rings. Stock early 964 pistons and cylinders.

The history of the engine is as follows, according to Garry Griffths, who I bought the engine from. The engine does have some race history in the One Lap of America. I will post that information later;

Hi James,

Here are some pictures of the engine in question…. I would like to make it clear that this engine is for someone who likes to do mechanical work. It is presently a long block…..meaning it is a complete engine without engine management, intake or exhaust. I bought the engine originally with +/- 25,000 miles on it. I rebuilt it and ran it for +/- 5000 kms with a TMW throttle body kit and Electromotive Tec 1 EMS. The engine was then destined for turbo charging and 500HP so pulled it apart again and strengthened the lower end with Raceware fasteners to take the extra load, cleaned up the webs to improve flow within the case and assembled with turbo pistons and cams.

5000 km’s on all new bearings, rings, guides, seals, 3-angle valve seats and slightly polished intakes and exhaust ports.
Raceware rod bolts and head studs
Patrick 3.6 DME to 915 lightweight flywheel
964 Group “B” Camshafts
Direct ignition Electromotive trigger wheel installed
993 exhaust headers (no cats or mufflers)
964 intake manifold/throttle body

Input would be appreciated. Thanks.
