OK, who is flying to Utah tomorrow?

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/895191-1975-911-carrera-25000-a.html

I have a PM in for a VIN, but haven't heard back.

I really like that car, but I don't know much about the mid-years. I've been focusing on SCs and 3.2s. Am I overlooking good cars??

'74 & '75 Carreras have been imported to U.S. in a very small numbers, so they are highly collectible. And if this indeed is a real '75 Carrera with matching numbers, you are looking at $85-$100k car. Definitely not a $25k car.

Probably a 911S if it's for real.

All I can say is:

1) Wow, what a car.
2) I would lose sleep over this deal until I had the title
3) Matt, hope you get it and Merry Christmas
4) Wow

After doing a little more research. The seller is using old photos and leaving $10s of thousands on the table. Something doesn't add up... sure every buyer/dealer has bombarded him with PM's by now.

I was just playing. I'm 8 hours away but have local contacts in SLC. I don't have any interest in another coupe, even a US Carrera way underpriced. If it was a targa I would probably be somewhere near Vernal, UT right about now...

No idea if it is real.

Well, seller joined Pelican in 2011. Sure is quite a while to pull a scam - so maybe it's legit.

Guys this can't be real! I didn't even flinch when I read
it. Something is off, not to say good deals can't be had on Pelican
but this car is too easy to price... Watch me be wrong
