That's an auction anomoly. When you get a couple determined bidders, anything can happen.

Clearly, prices for 84-89 have been, at best, flat over the last year. In reality they have declined. Even the ads in Pano show that.

Regarding LuxSport, one might argue that a dealer's auction bumps, even without winning, are still in his best interest because it adds to the "the market's hot hot hot!" fervor, as demonstrated in the cheerleading comment stream. It would have ended lower without Lance's pushes.
