Touch up paint = original?
 

Hey Gang

Question - perhaps silly I know - if a car has stone knicks etc on hood and front bumper is it more desireable on an otherwise original car to buy with touch ups done -- OEM porsche touch up paint done by owner - or to have the knicks etc.

This is specificalyl about a 3.2 carrera, not a barn find 4 cam speedster.

I don't think it subtracts value on a 3.2 to touch up the stone chips. As you say, it's not a barn-find Speedster. I can't imagine that anyone would prefer the look of my car (or ascribe more value to it) with chips all over as opposed to having them properly touched up.
