04 996 40th anniversary buying advice
I'm looking at buying a 2004 996 40th anniversary x51 AE40 Jahre coupe. The car had a engine swap at 48k due to ims failure and now has 95k at a cost of 22k at the dealer with records. The car has a new clutch and a full service and appears to be in excellent condition. The owner has extensive records. Blue book is around 24k and i know that is just a guide but is the asking price of 31k too much? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

about three times too much. check out rennlist as they are a better resource IMO than pelican for the water cooled cars.

I just never got these Anniversary models. Seems like just another way for the factory to create demand.

I liked mine and would pay $24k for that car. Not $31k.
Seats, engine, LSD, wheels, and paint color make the car. I found the sport suspension not stiff enough for my liking. |
