What's the value, early 1966 911 engine,*907814* 4679

I have a motor and tranny out of a car I bought to fix up my brothers 911.
This past July my barn blew over and the motor and tranny fell off the
racking I had it stored on. My Insurance needs a value of them. I think it
was a 1966 911 the wheels where 4.5 fuchs and the dash had a basket
look. Engine number is *907814* and 4679, What's the value?

Thanks

Need more pictures. A 911S engine would be up in the say 15,000-22000 depending on it's condition. If just a core then maybe less.

Someone might pay great money for that engine and 4.5" rims on the Early S Registry forum. Check there...

What's the type number, it's stamped near the s/n. It'll read something like 901/02. I think a 67S would be 901/02.

Per the Red Book, #907814 would be from a 66 911. Engine #'s ranged from 907001 - 90900 for the 1966 year.

I think you'll find you have a 901/05 which would make it a 66 regular 130hp 2.0

I just sold a little earlier motor, 903504, in very similar state of completeness for $6,200.
