1978 911sc

I looked at a 78 sc today- it had the bright trim/no sun roof and no passenger flag mirror. Was the passenger mirror an option? Seems like only real extra it had was ac. Is this a low option car? I didn't know if/when the passenger mirror became standard.

Yes, the mirror was an option on early SCs

No sunroof is a plus in my personal opinion.

Yes- I like the fact she doesn't have a sunroof- gives me a few more inches of headroom- I'm 6'7.

From what I have read, the blacked out trim was an option included in several packages.
So the bright trim is usually on low optioned cars.
My '78 has the bright trim and only has an LSD, sport seats, and leather interior options.

ROW or US car- pretty rare to find a US car that stripped, not uncommon with a Euro delivery car

Came with cookie cutters originally but has Fuchs on it now.

Mine is a Euro. Bright Trim, crank windows and no passenger mirror but does have a sunroof. The sunroof is open more than it is closed.
