Sell it! For $20K!
|
poor car. It will take a small fortune to bring it back.
I will stick with my 25k just for its rarity, but you will have to find someone who will REALLY want it. sportomatic, glass back window, hack job and incompleteness are all big negatives. the 65-67 912 tach and speedo can go too :( It has little rust, that is good. The bad thing is all the mods that will require lots of work to fix, so that just eliminated the benefits of it having little rust. This is too hacked to do a 'quick fix' on. 5.5x 15 fuchs, SWB fenders and all the other missing hardware and engine are big $$. I would personally put a 901 5 speed in it, just for driveability. If you are not willing to fork out 50k, I would sell as is. It will never be cream of the crop due to missing engine and trans, but everything else can be fixed. |
I'd say if you want to sell it quickly you could list it for $15 and sell it immediately. There was a 68 listed for as low as $22k with a 2.7 that couldn't move on here to save its life.
