Like all Porsche projects, buying it is only the ticket to the dance, as I'm finding out with my 993. I budgeted about $10,000 to get it up and running and it looks like that right around where I'll end up. So $5000 for the car, $10,000 for the mechanics, plus paint and body, so it adds up quick.
