Value of 962 0wners/servive maanuel with serial/ VIN stamped in it?

Heres a good/kind of funny one. My old friend here, who is getting older, in the early 90's had the actual car. It was a yellow race car a one seater. I have seen many of his pictures and 93 was the date on the picture. Though he sold the car back then, he kept this big white binder which is some kind of owners manual or service manuel. I have seen the VIN for the car in the front of it but I didn't really look thriugh it.

I can't believe he kept that item but he did, and now shows it off proudly like a trophy, along with the pictures of the.actual car. I have a haunch that the current owner of that car, if it still exists would love to have that item. Am I mistaken to believe this?
