1967 911S AMBITIOUS project

I have acquired a 1967 911S coupe, VIN #3069579S. NC title in process. Appears to have originally been Sand Beige (6707). Has been flared on the rear quarters, not particularly well. Will need extensive rust repair. Southeastern US car, so not terrible. Has been sitting outdoors with glass out for several years. No engine or trans. Has original suspension and brakes, roller wheels/tires. (no, not narrow Fuchs!) Has full set of gauges in decent shape. Can send pic's, will try to post some this weekend.
Any input on value? Open to reasonable (and ridiculously high) offers.
Thank you, Dan 704-821-7023 days, 704-993-8335 cell.

What's a 67 S vin worth these days? $15K $25K? Maybe 10% of what the car is worth finished.

I sold two 67S projects last year if you need some comps. One was actually Sand Beige too, you can read about it here:

Re Cage question

No cage currently installed, but I think it may have had one previously. Was also red at one time. Do you possibly know this car?

That's an incredibly valuable car finished though it would be worth a ton more with the engine. I would say at least $25k as is if not more. They all cost the same to restore. This one will just be worth that much more when it's finished.

Well building and sourcing a 67s engine will cost the same as a complete 71 T

Good point. The engine would be a lot more if you were going for a "correct" engine for it.

Man look at the rust around the top of the dash and the lower knee bar! Never seen it that bad before.

LOL I remember that one. Isn't this the one that Harold Brandner in Florida cut the VIN numbers and tags out of, then tried to sell them separately?
