How not to list a car on eBay - Slant Nose "Cab"
My friend Mike is a great guy, but he just put his Slant Nose Wide body Targa-converted-to-Cab on eBay and set an example of just what not to do.
First, he's selling a convertible. In the Spring. Good move. But not one picture of the car with the top down(!) Second, this is a great running and driving car (I know, I had it listed for sale for him for a while) and he kinda forgot to say anything about the condition of the clutch, brakes, transmission... these are important things, especially to a distant buyer who may be deciding whether to set up a PPI. Also, no compression/leakdown numbers. Finally, he hasn't used his eBay account for a long time, so had 0% positive feedback when he initiated the listing. It's easy to buy a couple $0.99 goodies from China for instant positive topline feedback. |
Great looking conversion. Glad it doesn't have the "turbo" badge...
It would look 100% better with the Fuchs... even the last pic gives an idea...the dark centers look great with the slate... Also, a good detail on the paint and interior with better lighting (pic lighting is aweful) would help sell the car. MattR |
I know two guys who would look great in this car.

LOL
Crockett & Tubbs! But while the rest of the style says Miami Vice, the cool contemporary color just confuses... |
While this car was in my care, I rented it out to a swimsuit designer to use for a retro themed shoot.

Vin Diesel revealed on the Tonight Show last week he's part of a Miami Vice reboot.
