Mostly fluff...he could have said what he wanted to say in four or five sentences.
It's almost as if the market is cyclical! (Says someone who's been on this earth for five decades) Hugo

With zero claims my insurer has been raising my premiums the last few years. They better start coming down.

The interesting thing is the affordable classics are still climbing slowly.

What the Heck's Going on with Classic Cars?
I think a lot of very rough cars coming on to the market is some of this.
When a rough driver on BaT sells for $70,000. That market doesn't differentiate between nice driver that should sell for $100,000. When I say market I mean these posters that post these articles. As for ultra high end cars selling in the $5000,000 + range. If I was ultra weathly I don't think I could think of better, safer, MORE ENJOYABLE way to invest and hold money long term. Will you loose money at times? Yes. Will it even out over the long run? Yes. Is collecting blue chip cars the most exciting way possible to "invest"? YES!
