Motor selling advice

Hi Team. Forgive me for posting here, but I need some objective advice, and technical minds are better suited to the task than those on the hunt for a great deal (don't ask me how I know ).

First some background. I have a 3.2L motor with about 130,000 miles on it. It's a solid motor that doesn't smoke, doesn't use excessive oil, and doesn't have any problems at all that I know of. I don't recall the compression #s, but they are close across all 6 cylinders. I had been planning to rebuild it as a 3.4L of some kind and have the jugs for this already.

Along comes a 3.6L V-Ram that I couldn't resist bringing home with me, and now the 3.2L needs a new body to call home.

So my question is this: would I be better off financially to sell the 3.2 as-is, or spend the money to rebuild it and then sell it as a fresh motor?

I appreciate your thoughts very much!

Sell it as it is. Spending money on it before sale just gets wasted because recoup the money from the sale and you won't build it to the buyers expectation no matter how much you spend.
The negotiation is always down.

Don't waste the time or the money, just sell it as is.

Nobody will pay you the labor to rebuild it. Sell it as a core. Do compression and leakdown and someone might take a changed on it as a runner.

I agree with he above. If you can take a video of it running do that first and then list it for sale. Also, if you can post it on 914World.com in the classifieds. They are always looking for good motors for Six conversions. Good luck.
