Is this Green the deal killer

Saw this on Barrett Jackson results; Thinking the color choice was a mistake. The price for a "fully restored top to bottom car" is kinda low. Choice of color, bumper upgrade..blah blah. Electric green with Aztec tan interior--
Talk amongst yourselves, I'd like to hear the comments...

and prices seem a bit low on general on their results. Especially for modded cars, like turbo body, etc.

upper 20s to mid 30s in general, though looking further some of the results are as much as 8 years old. Guessing they don't handle a lot of older 911s.

Not my cup of tea color wise, but a very nice car. The engine bay and fan look very cool.

Painting the Fuchs correctly could help the look.

This was from Palm Beach 2015 auction. Imagine it would sell higher today.

I heard that Rick is Phatt's pimp, and that Phatt is quite the earner (his nickname is "The Lizard" - not sure why and don't want to find out! ).

me too.... Looks like the Seller is trying to tone down the color by taking pics of the car in the shade. Typical dealer trick...

I like the green although it's looks to be one that doesn't photograph accurately (plus in the shade as mentioned). My thoughts on helping the looks of it and my opinion on why the price didn't make it:

- ditch the window tinting to show the tan interior and it's contrast with the green. This will help tone down the sea of green.
- figure out a direction to go with the trim and wheels and make it flow better. He's got black window trim and chrome H4 rings and polished wheels. I realize this is common because of painting the rings and what's involved in that but...

Not sure where to go with this car but it would be easier to deal with w/o that front bumper or at least some sort of a matching rear bumper.

Definitely not just the color that turns me off. Front bumper. Blingy engine bay. Tint. But first thing is that it's just too candy apple. Maybe that's bad photography but I'm not convinced.

The combination of black window trim together with chrome headlight surrounds and polished wheels also does not look good.

Dark window tint looks great on 911s, regardless of paint color (even geezer green) - some of you guys have vision problems, are nutz, or both!

A pair of 7" & 8" Fuchs (black) would do wonders to that car. Not my first choice but I don't mind that shade of Green.
