Project 1979 911SC ROW
Bought this a couple months ago because I always wanted a 911. However, with limited funds I realize I would probably be better off buying a running car.
What do you think the car is worth? 1979 ROW car. Original Guards Red Motor supposedly rebuilt before being parked. No records to verify and not running so take that for what it's worth Only rust is in the trunk area around the battery. I have a new piece from restoration design for that. Headliner and dash are good. Seats need recovering. 16" Fuchs http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1499437870.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1499437870.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1499437870.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1499437870.JPG |

It is worth must likely what you paid for it. I see a high mileage car that needs one of everything.

Yikes.
10K, not $15. |
Thank you for the feedback and PM's.
I'll probably list on BaT or ebay next week. |
Why does a Euro engine have a smog pump on it? Is that correct?

I would have said higher in the past, but after what I've been through with a car in the exact same condition (minus the front rust), the whole entire fuel system will need to be done, plus tank, lines, CIS WUR, Fuel Dizzy, injectors (maybe) and maybe head studs - then the paint and the rust work. Even if you do it yourself it's going to cost $10K at least. It has the possibility of being a nice car - but it's going to take some serious work - and I know I should have probably gotten a runner but I never do.

This car just did $12.6K. |
This is definitely not a 10k car... I bet if you listed it on ebay it would fetch 14-15.5k. People wish they could still get these for 10k.
