It seems that anytime someone lists a motor like this they add $10-15k perhaps in hopes that the person that has the car that the engine is original to will see the ad and be willing to anty up

That's about as good a deal as the engine burned to a crisp on eBay offfered by LA Dismantler for 18k. Whoever buys these might also be interested in a bridge for sale to drive them on.

He replaced the factory air box which is for sale separately. He's asking $4,900 for that one. ��

We had a 930 motor a few months ago. It came rammed into a 72 Targa. I drove the car, but the turbo need at least a top end re-build, several head studs were broken, amongst other things. But the engine did run. We had it on ebay for months, with a video of it running, it finally sold for $14,000, so that is a good data point.
