I would like to see a vin check on that one - the Carrera Cup cars did not look like that - who fitted the home made "aftermarket" exhaust - Ronald Mcdonald!?

All of the US ones were white, except for one red one.
My memory is foggy, but I think it was going to carry Coca-Cola sponsorship in the failed Toyo Series, hence the red. Very early in its life it ended up on its roof at Road Atlanta and was hurt pretty badly. I think it was turned into a dedicated track car during its rebuild. At least that is what I remember... |

509 is the correct VIN # for the one red US cup, lots of parts that are not correct, cage, hood pins, was a port car so initially not converted

I would take this and imagine it was a real RS. Good enough for me and less than half the price.

But I will give you that an euro RS is preferable. |

I would hope the person spending $289,000.00 does their due diligence...
Errrr... That is spot on. "Euro RS is preferable" is the understatement of the century. |
