1992 Porsche 911 RS America Coupe 2-Door

IIRC all the Cup cars were white?

I would like to see a vin check on that one - the Carrera Cup cars did not look like that - who fitted the home made "aftermarket" exhaust - Ronald Mcdonald!?

All the US ones were.

All of the US ones were white, except for one red one.

My memory is foggy, but I think it was going to carry Coca-Cola sponsorship in the failed Toyo Series, hence the red. Very early in its life it ended up on its roof at Road Atlanta and was hurt pretty badly. I think it was turned into a dedicated track car during its rebuild. At least that is what I remember...

509 is the correct VIN # for the one red US cup, lots of parts that are not correct, cage, hood pins, was a port car so initially not converted

You should ask the seller about the accident. Its a terribly written as, but it also makes zero mention of such a shunt.

Didn't know about the red one.

There is a huge difference between the two cars- what those differences may be worth is up to the check writers, a RSA with a S/R is basically a C2 with a manual steering rank and a M30 suspension - not sure I'd pay $60k for that, my 2 cents.

I know what a RSA is - you are not spot on.

But I will give you that an euro RS is preferable.

I would hope the person spending $289,000.00 does their due diligence...

Errrr... That is spot on. "Euro RS is preferable" is the understatement of the century.
