Aluminum rocker moldings-rare?

I found a set of clear anodized aluminum rocker moldings for a mid-year car (No flare at rear).
I don't recall seeing a set of these before. Are they rare? Any special fitment?
Ejumacate me, please!!

Are you able to post a photo? May be easier to identify.

I think my 1975 anniversary edition has those on it. I do think they are a little harder to come by

I think they also were a part of a kit that included fender trim rings, no? Pics would help. I think I've seen a '77S with them before.

They look just like the steel rockers, just in clear anodized alloy. I will try to get pic's tomorrow.
Can we call them "Lichtwechts"?

Are you sure they're not from an early 70s longhood? They came on the later longhoods when you ordered the appearance group, which was a very common option. I have a couple sets of those myself but I'm not sure if they vary from one's put on the middies.

I can only agree with that on a targa. It's because of the targa bar.
