What's a 1997 carrera 4s, 89k, blk/blk, manual, worth at a wholesale auction?

Intersested in guesses, up for sale tomorrow. Trade in, Runs well, appears 1 owner.

Why would someone wholesale auction that car? I would be careful. Quick scroll through the interwebs and the owner would find out these have a enthusiast following.

If it looks nice, no signs of a accident and you could pick it up in the $50s you should be in good shape if problems occur after the purchase. Here's the closest match I can find on Manheim.

Good question. Porsche store trade in. Its an autonation store will run at manheim. Corporate dealers dont have appreciation of older cars? Next car in line is a 2000 m5 with 70k. Both Out of my price range at this time, just thought it would be a fun guessing game .

Well that was active poll... No paintwork, ran well, $$k in receipts for maintence. Solid car. My guess was $47.5, sold for $48.5. I still like my 79 sc , but this car would have been fun.

It may have been a wholesale auction, but that isn't a wholesale price.

I have a 95 993, I paid $5000, now that's wholesale!

Oh c'mon Adam, you need to show the original pic of that 993 with the tree growing out of the rear spoiler. It being parked next to that nice Merc doesn't show the full story.

Details, details....

$5000 for the car, $15,000 to get it up to snuff.

The 97 C4S sold for $48.5 at auction? That may be the C4S I'm test driving today...
