So that is a curve ball. But I won the last two. So Im game.

Of course no books on this one.

It is worth 15k (rear hatch nuts are painted). It wil go for 22.5k.

I have no idea about values , so I’m going for the long shot and doing the opposite of the current world champion .

Worth 24.7k , but will sell for 15k

:D

specialtyoneinc 10-27-2017 12:16 PM

$23,775 plus fees

The more I look at this auction the worse the car looks. Going to revise $20,500 plus fees "Reserve Not Met"

Ouch, I may have shot too high.

Given that its on or was on eBay for $29,5 I would doubt the reserve is as low as 20 or 23. My guess is the reserve is 26 or 27 and it wont sell.

Nowhere near as much as if it were still light yellow. I bet it had chrome trim too. Poor little car. I'm going to give it $22.5k and a no sale.

The floors look horrendous. What you are seeing, and I always laugh when I see 911 floor photos, is the thick top tar paper layer that's painted body color. The floor is underneath this - and I see lots of rust poking through.

I tell you, I owned a '74, and when I got it realized this top layer of factory tar covering was in fact the floor, and became the floor, because the thin metal factory floor sandwiched in between the factory tar took a beating when moisture got trapped.

I'd stay away from this car. I really would. That floor has issues, and notice there are no photos from underneath.

I'm not even going to put a number, because anything north of $16-$19K is way too high.

You're not playing. This isn't what's it worth. It's what will they bid it up to? Many buyers these days aren't educated enough to see what you saw.

Flynt 10-27-2017 04:11 PM

$22,499 and RNM ;)

Ok Matt, since a lot of people won't or refuse to see what I saw, I say $35K. Why not?

Cal44 10-28-2017 05:36 AM

Look at the door jam, new undercoating, color change and body in general. Even if anyone go it for 10K, the body work and paint alone will be more than todays value.
Run away..........run fast. Oh' I'm certain there is someone that will pay to much.

$22K....reserve not met

Somewhat. I'm just seeing if my high number creates some sort of chaos surrounding this car. Who knows?

1979-930 10-30-2017 06:57 AM

If this guy is a flipper he sucks at it.

Bad Bondo repair
Cheap paint with no gloss. Probably done in his garage. I'm sure up close its full of sanding scratches and bugs.
Bright trim is gone
Poor fitting duct tail. The tail doesn't even belong on this car.
Horrible mirrors
Flat front tire
Ride height is too high and front is higher than the back; even with the low tire.

How could you expect this car to sell for $30k? This is a sad looking car that won't break $20k. It could but it needs a better flipper to fine tune it.
