7x16 Fuchs values
I just bought a car that came with a bunch of spares. I got two loose 7x16. One us 74 Carrera and the other is 87 Carrera, as best I can tell. Obviously not a matched set for sale purposes...

i sold a half dozen locally getting between $200-250 each depending on condition via CL. there gets to be a tipping point of diminishing returns when shipping parts that are bigger in nature and need to be very cared for while in transport. a set of 8's, 9's or a completely refreshed weiderman set makes shipping worth wild. sevens are a dime a dozen.

the sixes that the paddles are 90* off the rim surface are worth more. they can be made into these 3 piece units in 8's or 9's. or 8.5s...
![]() the 7's don't allow this.

So there's no price delta between a .44 and a .15? I can sell the 3.2 Carrera wheel and replace it for the same in a date correct 74 for my car? Or is the .15 a 951 wheel? I've never paid close attention to this stuff.

Matt, both 7x16 and 8x16 951 fuchs have a 951 part number prefix.
Also, didn't they start making 16" fuchs available in '78 for the SCs and 930s?

I did some digging in trying to understand this and figured out where my confusion came from . It's the combination of the part number and the ET. When looking around at Fuch part numbers, the 911.262.115.00 7x16 is frequently left off the charts. The closeness to the 951 part number and 23.3 ET marked on it is what threw me. ALL 7x16 are 23.3 ET. Furthermore, I didn't bother looking up the first wheel and just pulled what I thought was the Pro Date when I said it was a 74-75 Carrera wheel, even though 7x16s weren't put on cars until the 1977 930. I'll post a couple pictures from my phone shortly to show what I missed when only cleaning a couple petals to start with...

![]() ![]() These are both the same wheel. I don’t know what that is but it’s not a 74 prodate. So most likely I will be selling these wheels as a pair, even though they are two different part numbers, they are the same 23.3 ET and will fit and appear identical when installed.
