Value of 80s era sport seats?

I'm looking at a '76 Targa that has a decent set of mid 80s (after 84) era sport seats in it. They're black and in pretty nice shape. However, they don't really match the rest of the tan interior that the Targa has.

What is a rough, current value of a set of mid 80s sport seats that are in nice, but not 100% perfect condition?

believe correct from '84-'86

those seats are correct from 80-84, and are generally worth $1k and up depending on how nice. cores can be had for $7-800. OP's seats are the generation after, and aren't worth quite as much...

You are correct 1980-84 in the ad (have this style sport seat in my ‘84) ... senior moment ...

Correct. The Targa has the later sports seats in it. They look like the attached picture. So, thoughts on pricing then? Less than $1K? More?

Love early manual sport seats totally change the personality of the interior to performance oriented.

'74-'80 seats were the same; changed in '81 to the different bolster design.

The '74'-'80 are some of the best if not the best sport seats they ever put in a car.

2cam. If you have a set of late 80's sport seats and they are in good or better condition they are worth more than 1k. I have recovered two sets of sport seats. I paid around 700 for each pair and spent 1500 to recover. They both look perfect but as you can see I have over 2k per pair in my seats.
If the seats are manual I think they may be worth a bit more.
Post some pics of your seats. As they are black there should be more people interested that will not have to recover.
If I needed a set I would expect to pay at least 1500 for a nice set and maybe a bit more if they are perfect. The challenge with seats is usually the shipping. Good luck.
