Need way more details and pictures to give you a semi accurate ballpark. Was it a T, E, or S originally? Could range from $50 to $150k easily.

Dan J 01-10-2018 11:07 AM

I'm sure it's a T

Macroni 01-10-2018 11:31 AM

agree w Spec1inc..... w/o pics hard to say. A really nice or gentlemen's hotrod $80,000 to $100,000. A track Rat $35,000 to $50,000.

Since we don't have much info. Take a look at BAT results and compare. Longhood hotrods seem to do real well on that site.

$45-70k depending on condition of paint and interior.

nathanbs 01-10-2018 05:15 PM

2.7 RS spec motor depending on parts used can be $30k+ by itself

Still think these asking price threads are completely hilarious when the OP does not post pictures.

Dan J 01-11-2018 05:43 AM

Thanks Matt
I'm thinking in the high 40's low 50's
I think he's got 25 in the motor which has 300 miles on it
Sal,
Close your eyes and imagine a crap brown paint job from 1984 when the car was worth $7500

hold your index and middle fingers to your temples and imagine. if that does not work just spit a number out...

Sometimes when you know the OP you can speculate what kind of car they would sell. This group is always looking for hidden issues that the seller is going to miss when assessing a car. When the seller is an industry expert I just trust that they know what they are selling and ballpark is good enough.

A comp?
