1982 911 sc coupe
I have this Porshe in subject title.
My husband passed away 1 1/2 years ago. I am thinking of selling this if there is interest. It has 139,770 miles. It just passed CA smog no problem. I have kept it running for the past 1 1/2 years. I have all records and receipts, and pictures. I live in the Santa Cruz area of California. Thank you for any advice. Gina |

Welcome to the forum Gina.
If you were to post a link where we could view pictures I'm sure many would chime in and be able to assist you with a ballpark for asking price, assuming that's even something you're after. If you already have a price in mind please feel free to generate a For Sale ad in the "Porsche Cars for Sale" marketplace forum and you will most certainly gather interest. A VIN number would help for starters and some basic history of the car. Is this a car your late husband purchased new making it a one owner? If not, how many years has it been in the family? What color exterior and interior? Last edited by epinfren; 01-11-2018 at 11:36 AM.. |

There will be a lot of interest. You are going to start getting private messages from people trying to buy the car quickly and quietly. Take your time and get educated. Decide if you want to become educated enough to sell it at retail or if you would prefer to sell it wholesale to someone. Either way we can help you through it. Just don't rush through this and get ripped off. You've got a car there that's worth tens of thousands of dollars and there will be interest in it.

Excellent advice from Matt. Definitely take your time with the process. Unless it's in extremely rough neglected shape it's worth $25-30k minimum.

$25k - $32k is probably your range unless it's really nice and has a rare color.

Hey Gina,
I'm in the San Jose area and would be happy to help out if you need anything. Not in the market for a new car, so no motive except to help you get what your car is worth. |

It should work, to post directly from your iPad or Mac....click on “go advanced” and follow the “click here to upload photos” buttons.

Matt Thanks!
Actually I believe it's bamboo beige with brown interior, and engine. I have more pics of interior, engine and front trunk, more of exterior. When I posted picture, it did show picture in preview, but then it just showed the link that didn't work. My husband loved pelican parts and the 911 forum. Everyone is so nice. Thank you all again... |

Yes, that’s Bamboo. I’ve got a friend with a SC Targa in the same color.
