Rant- Why do sellers post old photos?!

Went to look at a 2004 GT3 located in San Diego that has a salvaged title. Photos looked good so I thought WTH.

Reality check- if the price is too good to be true, it probably is. The jacka$$ evidently posted photos of the car the day he got it vice after the two years that the car has been sitting outside and the car looks exactly like it has been sitting outside- broken signal lens here, oxidized paint there, and I doubt the wheels have been decently washed by other than a drive thru car wash with the spinning rat tails of death.

Excellent track fodder for drivers ed but a sorry example of a GT3.

Are you talking about the silver GT3 in SoCal?

There have been two other "rant" threads nearly identical to yours about this car. Seller is apparently "morally questionable" and hoping for a naive and/or out of state buyer. If the listing is up on Pelican let the mods know.....it's time to call the car out for what it is.
