Need help pricing my car..

Getting ready to remodel our home and going to have to sell my toy to make that happen comfortably.

1975 911, Smog exempt, clean California title in hand, registered to me, excellent mechanical condition, lots of expensive upgrades, car runs very well and handles excellent, needs paint. Previous owner had 930 body kit installed and car painted red about 10 years ago. He ended up getting sick and sold the car to his mechanic who was rebuilding the engine for him. Details of the rebuild are not available as that shop changed computer systems and information is lost. I bought it from the mechanic. Mechanic's name is Chris Murad in the Bay Area.

Engine: 3.0L SC, runs well, few drops of oil after a spirited weekend drive, never tracked

Body: steel 930 flares (930 box rocker panels and turbo tail removed so holes in metal are present), I believe car was originally black and repainted by previous owner ~10 years ago when he got the turbo body kit done.

Suspension: Bilstein coil-overs all around. Rebel S Racing parts used. Installation done by Clint at RSR in Morro Bay.

Brakes: Brembo 996 red calipers and slotted rotors

Gauges: Completely rebuilt by North Hollywood Speedometer; All LED lighting; Ferrari yellow tach; 180mph Speedo; Tag Heuer clock face

Wheels: 16x 8/10 - Etoille (Gotti style), less than 1k miles on BFG all around.

Seats: Sparco racing

Seatbelts: stock seatbelts still in place, red racing harness by Beltenick, Brey Krause harness bar

Transmission: 5 speed, Rebel S Racing mounts

A/C: no

Heat: yes

CONS: sunroof needs weatherstrip replaced and adjusted as it does not open/close smoothly; car needs some body work (holes where rocker panels used to be and turbo tail used to be), small nicks and dings...this car has great potential but in current condition is not a show car.

EXTRAS: This car will come with every extra part I have which is a long list of expensive parts.

I am simply looking for help in pricing this car fairly and realistically. I plan on submitting it for auction on BAT and need a realistic reserve price. I recently saw a real POS rust bucket 83 SC sell for $32k on there and this is much much nicer than that one. I appreciate you taking the time to give me an honest estimate.

It would go into the 30s in BaT. Set reserve at 27 or 28 and let it run.

Sell the Gottis, throw some euromeisters replica fuchs on there, use the same tires, and put the rockers back on. I think you'll get a lot more that way. GLWS sorry you have to sell your toy.

Front and rear valance will hurt the sale price too. The stock but lowered look seems to be what buyers want right now.
If there are more pictures of the suspension and brake mods you should get $40k

Are the shock towers reinforced?

plexiform 01-27-2018 03:27 PM

We did not go overboard with spring rates so did not need to do that. This is very much a street car. I talked about it with Clint while we were making the modifications and he did not see the need for it.

Should fetch upper $30s on BAT. Hopefully more. GLWS

I thought this might be the case and would have to preferred to see the shock tower reinforcements made to end any debate if needed on a street car or not. You have a lot of $$$ brake/suspension/body component upgrades which will help your resale. I'm thinking $36k (ish) on BAT. GLWS/A
