GT4 purchase

My Son is working towards an occasional Porsche that suits him. He has gone through a few and steadily has been going up the ranks getting nicer & nicer ones. He set his sights on a Cayman GT4 recently & had me take a long hike to go look at one. Once I got there nothing was left but to buy it. It was impeccable. - Sold.

Anyhow I was stunned with the market on these. Some we found were over original sticker ~ Others were at sticker with only a handful being below sticker.

I drove it home 340 miles (22.2 MPG, 78MPH average - in the rain) and can definitely see the attraction. Good for Porsche making cars that hold resale value. BMW & Mercedes should take note.

Here it is today after my road trip. He wont see it in person for a month or so!

I know a guy who owned a GT3. Paid about 140k and sold it for the same price 3 years later. Buying a sports car is "irresponsible" by the brainwashed masses who don't blink an eye at buying a “responsible and practical” SUV or econobox for $30k, only to have it be worth $8k after a few years.

You bet Matt. Sage was SO NICE that I ended up with it. My Son kinda used it as a bargaining chip with me for this GT4 purchase. I jumped at the chance.

Its hard to top a Boxster. Great value and loads of sport.

That’s funny. It’s a good car. Eventually I will get to drive my Cayman and make a comparison. Cervelli is renowned for his engines but takes forever.
