made the commitment

many of you know of me and are aware that I suffered a stroke last august 28, and since getting home from the hospital in September.I was unable to drive at all until a month ago, and stiill cannot drive my 911 as my left arm is disabled. This sucks so bad I have toyed with selling it, as I hate see it it covered and stored in the garage. Hatin' it too as this was a life long dream car for me, my wife and I got a poster of one similar to it and I still have it today. 32 years later.I have owned the car for 27 years.
I sent my photos and info yo BAT today and expect to see it llisted this week.
one of the saddest days for me ...and a prelude to the sad one to come. But it is a car and
i hope to buy an automatic boxster once its gone.Link to the auction coming.soon
I did buy a 5.0 F150 and drive that daily. Its sweet but not in the same league

Oh man, I’m sorry to hear this. I wish you the best.

On the Boxster be sure to get a Pdk. The tiptronic just doesn’t do the car justice. Only tip I would buy would be if I was trying to stay in an air cooled car.

Sorry to hear of your reasons for selling. I am somewhat local to you and have some interest. Sent you a PM

been interesting dealing with BAT so far, they are very picky about the quality of you car and the photos you submit. Came bac to me twice for more photos and some very specific ones.

i cant drive the 911,and after getting in the seat ( ahh memories) no way could I push the clutch in. (booo)My wife handled the driving, thankfully.
I think after sending in 40 photos we might be there. walting to hear back from my guy there.

My last daily driver I had for 253k miles. Lots of memories too. I decided to practically give it away to a neighbor friend. It feels good to see it on the road and in the hood regularly.

Perhaps you can keep your car local and enjoy the same? It breaks my heart to say goodbye to a fine auto. Ya know- I get attached. Given more funds, I think there is a hoarder in me.
