Help!!! 1975 911 value??? Worth buying and selling?

Hello PP.

My father who was an avid Porsche collector and builder passed away several years ago (always my go to) I can't ask him so I am gonna bug you guys Long story short I got privy to a 1975 that owner is wanting to sell giving me first dibs to buy ( I would try and flip). The car has been cut up as you will see (also cut all the original wiring). He has no idea if the motor is seized. I broke my foot earlier that day so I was hobbling around and didn't get great pics. Car is a desert car no rust, missing a lot of the original body work and interior bits. He has some new parts in the box and a set of old BBS wheels for the flares.

What do you all think its worth? Any info will greatly help me.... Thanks guys More pics to come.

Ugh the pics are all sideways... Ill try and fix. Sorry

In 2006 this would be worth $3K, in early 2012 probably $5K-$6K, now probably $10K-$14K.

Since you're honest and you're going to flip it, I'd get it for $5K and try to turn it over for twice that much.

No one would have touched this years ago. It would have been a very hard sell, but '75s are desirable because of emissions in some states.

The photo of that 915 trans shows that the trans is really clean - much cleaner than the one in my car - and the engine might be nice as well. There's $5K worth of stuff there if you parted it.

Best to buy it cheap, flip it for $10-$12K and wash your hands of it. Going to take a lot of work to put back, but someone will gladly take it off your hands and make a project of it.

The wheels and flares are just plain awful - too bad it doesn't have Fuchs and the fenders were left alone. It would be worth much more.

I think SalParadise is on the money. This is the perfect car for someone in California looking to build a backdated hotrod (and everyone is) from the ground up. Rust seems okay. You might get $15k for it, since you're pretty close by. Depends on how long you're willing to wait.
