Need help sourcing bolster foam

Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can purchase squared off bolster foam for my early 80's high bolster sport seats ? Seats in the pic are just for reference.

Have you tried Capital Seating? They should have it.

I haven't but thank you for the info and reply !

If they don’t have it try eBay.de, German eBay. There’s usually a larger Recaro selection there than on the eBay US website.

FYI seats in picture are mid to late 70’s sport seats not 80’s. Blackbyrd on here has some NOS pieces of foam depending on what you are truly looking for

You may be able to purchase this new from Porsche, I would bet Tony from Autobahn could supply this.

Good point. The picture shows 74-80 sport seats. 81-84 sport seats are different. Make sure you differentiate when ordering the parts.

I have factory original NOS set 74-80 sport seat foam
Was in storage from original owner since new

SEALED

It doesn’t get any better than this
Enough for one seat

Yes, not the same. You might have the wrong picture.

The early 80's sport seats do not use those heavy brackets and are considerably lighter, more in keeping with the sport moniker.

Blackbyrd 06-03-2018 08:15 PM

Oh you need mid 80 as ins 81-84 style ok

Go look for a cheap cheap 944/924 with the seats
Buy the car pull the seats and a few parts then sell the whole thing for a couple hundred bucks

Free seats

Looks very promising. Who are they? I can't find anything on the website to even indicate where they are located.

UK based.

pmax; You're correct, I have the high bolster seats without the heavy metal brackets but I do believe that besides the brackets the seats are the same ?
