For 1 million bucks, do you get this or a Singer?

Pretty cool! I might take the GT-R over a Singer. The legend is there, plus I already know Porsche and Ruf and GT-R. Why not throw the dice on this? If I were cashed up like that I'd do the Nissan, but you know my biases already...

Get both a McLaren 570S and a 996 Gt3, pay Singer to make the 996 Gt3 interior nice to sit in, including back seats. Then you have a sports car and a family car.

Money left over for a 4x4 of some kind

I used to work with a guy who had a GT-R. One weekend he traded it to me for my 3.2-powered 72 coupe...

Literally every weekend after that, he begged me to trade again.

I found the GT-R massively capable, but heavy and appliance-like.

What model GT-R? Was it a real one? An AWD twin turbo GT-R even stock will spin heads IMO. I can't see how it could ever be compared to an appliance, but your 72 wasn't stock either was it?! Try a 1000 hp mod on your 72 coupe!

I think I'd save a few hundred thousand and get an Emory Outlaw of some sort.

He probably means an R35 one. We started getting them here a dozen years ago.

Singer because I still like the old school manual gearboxes. It is also less flashy. Need to blend into traffic.

How many people here have a million bucks and have never considered spending it on a car

I mean, how many multiples of a million do you need before you go for this kind of thing? 10? 100? 1000?

I have put plenty of miles on several Nissan GT-R's the last one being a 2016 I had for a week or so.

Does everything really well, the only thing its missing is a snooze button.

I didn't find it engaging, it felt cheap inside too.

For a million bucks I wouldn't spend it on either of those cars.
