R 12 S Staintune Exhaust system FS

I really enjoyed the dramatically improved sound and beautiful workmanship of these exhausts. Great deep, unique booming twin type sound. Quiet in the neighborhoods, yet a sweet thunder as pressure builds. Frequently other BMWer pilots mentioned how they appreciated the sound.

Solid, direct attachment points, all hardware in excellent shape. Bike was never down with this exhaust on. When I converted bike to the track only, switched to a race Remus, hence Staintune for sale. Note that originally was a complete stainless system as delivered. Max BMW removed and shipped to Jet Hot Ceramic Coatings in NC and re-installed. I liked the black header look w the black engine casings. Enjoyed the sound of the Staintune's for its bark, yet it passed our rigorous Maine inspection laws. When this bike was re-mapped by Max with the Staintune installed the 5k flat spot was gone and torque pull improved. The following is from the Staintune Exhaust manufacturer's website:
