It definitely did have the controller as all the wiring is visible under the unit , perhaps the sensor was relocated sometime in the past

I have been all over the under dash board and bought a cheap enderscope to look down the vents but still no look
The wire does head that way somewhere behind the dash I will keep looking perhaps...

The Plugs are there but having traced the wires the sensors have been cut off , the temperature dial seems to work as it drives the connecting rod depending on the setting backwards and forwards this...

I have checked the injectors and they are ok , one was replaced due to poor spray pattern, I will remove the PPV again and try and look inside the FD for and damage.
