Pull the door panel off, and look in the bottom...

Pull the door panel off, and look in the bottom of the door. More than likely all of the parts for the lock are down there. It can be a bit of a pain to get them all back together, but should work...

My r34 rattles also, and everything works for me. Iirc that is not a cheap relay. In my car #41, I think , is the pump relay.
