Thanks again for the input! I am really meticulous but when I did it i kept having issues with the chains and my sheet metal rig to hold them. Clearly my mistake and a learner! Beats the $1600 oil...

Yes I did pull it apart and it is correct, spotless clean. It dumb founds me that the scavenge is not working since the engine was pristine inside and it was a car I owned for 10yr before giving it...
