I've seen reports with late '05' builds...

I've seen reports with late '05' builds (April/May/June) had the larger bearing/bearing shaft. As others have said, you won't know for sure unless you drop the tranny and look.

I can't imagine somebody living in AZ would need a 0W oil in Phoenix, since low temps rarely get into the 20's.
5W-50 makes great sense but is hard to find; 5W-40 should work well.
